Erin Irvin, Office Manager
Erin was raised in White Salmon, WA. She began working in the Dental field in 2004 after moving to the Seattle area, where she lived for 10 years. She relocated to the Portland area in 2009 to join the Eilers Dental Team where she wears many hats around this crazy place. From the reception area to sterilization and everything in between, she also certification to take radiographs on patients. She most enjoys the challenge of insurance billing (which is constantly changing) and the day-to-day interaction with patients. In her free time, Erin enjoys hanging out with her husband, Dirk, and son Hunter (7 years old, going into 2nd grade) as well as their other “baby”, their dog Tucker. Going to the beach, the Hood River area, snowboarding, running and being outside are among her favorites activites to enjoy outside of the office. You won’t need to know her long to find that Erin is also a HUGE sports fan. There are two teams that she won’t miss watching… the Oregon Ducks and the Seattle Seahawks, and if you come in to the office on game day you will be sure to see her decked out in fan gear from head to toe.
Cyndi Neukamm, scheduling coordinator
Cyndi was born and raised in sunny Southern California. In 1996, Cyndi and her husband, Randy, relocated to Oregon and haven’t looked back since. While she began her dental career as a dental assistant, her true calling was working in the front office, where she has been for the past 20 years. Cyndi joined the team at Eilers Dental in 2019 as our scheduling coordinator. She enjoys the field of dentistry, welcoming each patient with a smile and answering any questions you may have.
She’s also a neighbor as well as an active parent at Grant High School, where her 3 daughters attend school. Cyndi is an avid soccer fan and loves watching her girls (age 18 and 16 y/o twins) play as well as taking in as many Timbers and Thorns games as possible. Dani Wilson, Registered Dental Hygienist
Born and raised in the Portland area, Dani went to middle school and high school with Dr. Eilers, both graduating from West Linn High school in 1996. She attended her first two years of college at Oregon State University before transferring to Oregon Health Sciences University where she received her Bachelors Degree in Science in Dental Hygiene in 2000. Dani has experience working in General Dentistry, Pediatric Dentistry and in Periodontics. She joined our team in 2010 part-time and became full-time in 2011. Her passion is helping anxious patients overcome their fears in the Dental office, as she herself had suffered for years from a high level of dental anxiety. Finding ways to relate to patients with compassion, humor and getting to know them on a personal level is what makes her love her profession. With 4 kids at home ranging from Freshman in College to 8th grade (for real, that isn’t a typo), life can definitely get hectic at times rushing to a school program, sporting event, or spending the evening being a taxi service to a social gathering or cheerleading practice. She enjoys playing board games with her children, traveling when possible, re-decorating, crafts, and DIY home projects.Registered Dental Hygienist”]
Jackie Murphy-Snelling, Registered Dental Hygienist
Jackie was born and raised in Portland, OR where she graduated from Reynolds High School in 2008. Her passion for dentistry started with a conversation with her childhood dentist during a routine cleaning appointment. That led her to begin her career in dentistry as a dental assistant in 2011. She has experience in both general dentistry and Periodontics. After working in that capacity for a few years, Jackie decided to pursue her ultimate goal of becoming a Dental Hygienist. She graduated from Mt. Hood Community College in June of 2017. We were pleased to have her join our team in March of 2018 as a full-time Dental Hygienist. Jackie has a passion for education, whether it’s her own or educating her patients. She enjoys helping her patients understand their oral health so they can make informed and educated decisions about their care. When she’s not working, you can find Jackie enjoying the local food scene, hiking, playing sports or just spending time with her wife, Vanessa and their 6 year old “puppy”, Pablo. She also enjoys time with her family who live in the area as well, going to concerts and on their annual family camping adventure at Trillium Lake.
Bonnie Weitzel, Registered Dent Hygienist
Bonnie was born and raised in Gladstone, OR. Her journey in dentistry began when a childhood friend, a dental assistant, offered her a job as a sterile tech at the dental office in which she worked. Little did she know, this would lead to a career in the dental field. In 2006, Bonnie moved to Reno, NV for 7 years. During that period, she completed the dental assisting program at Truckee Meadows Community College. Upon moving back to OR, Bonnie began working for Mark’s father (also a Dentist) in NE Portland as a dental assistant before deciding to go back to school to pursue a career as a dental hygienist. It was a slow start, working full time and taking pre-requisite night and weekend classes. She attended dental hygiene school at Mt Hood Community College. It’s funny how things work out, as Bonnie recalls JT Eilers telling her, “Mark will have a spot for you after you graduate”. A year after graduating, Bonnie was indeed offered a position at Eilers Dental as a dental hygienist.
Bonnie loves making a difference in her patients’ lives, building relationships and treating each patient as if they were a member of her own family. She lives in Happy Valley with her Fiancé, Jason, son Eugene, and soon to be step kids, Megan and Lance. We can’t forget about their fur-baby Oakley, a 2 year old Golden Retriever, who has the whole family smitten. In her spare time, Bonnie enjoys hiking with Oakley, taking their trailer on camping adventures, exercising, skiing, and spending time with family and friends.
